WE communicate with other people to get what we want.
I have been referred to as, “The Platform.” I am an Expert on Experts. I gather people who EXCHANGE SUCCESS TALKS/IDEAS for a living, who are specialists at what they do, and KNOW HOW TO get their “success tips” in the hands of others in an instant.
If you are an expert and would like to present your success tips in New York City, please contact us at: Kruff@aol.com
As the director of The Success Conference in New York City, I would like to invite you to join us. As the director of The Success Conference in New York City, I would like to invite you to join us.
I travel the planet looking for the best Speakers on success. I look for the Experts. I seek to learn how to tap the sources of the most innovative ideas and move them quickly out into the marketplace; very similar to the movement of an NFL quarterback. ADDING VALUE IS A GOOD FEELING!
Simply put, people who make things, give services and do things must start talking with each other and exchange unique, innovative ideas that improve and add value to our global marketplace-and they must do it with emotional intensity, and a feeling of absolute certainty.
WHY TALK TO OTHERS?
Because a person’s career and personal life depend on it!
WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
They are “Success Speaking Experts.” They deliver unique ideas to the forefront, and get others to “implant” their ideas, products and services quickly and effectively with very little fuss.
HOW DO THEY DO WHAT OTHERS CAN’T?
They don’t consider themselves leaders, only “Speakers in the name of success,” (getting others to succeed at their passions).

Schools that produce “large graduation rates” are the product of empowered and innovative teachers. I believe the best way to promote high quality educational experiences for students who have a desire to graduate is to ensure teachers have the strategies and tools to advocate on their behalf.
I recently ran into a former student who had recently graduated from a city college. She was one of the best students in my Communication class four years ago.
I asked her what she thought was the one course, besides mine, if any, that she felt propelled her to learn the most. She thought for a moment, and said that it was the classes that engaged her the most, emotionally. She named a few lab courses and those courses that the instructor had her on teams and groups where she was allowed to work with other students.
Research undeniably shows the teachers who provide an environment of interactive activity and stimulation are most successful. Completing the course with less drop-out is the barometer for success. Those environments that allow students to work with other students in study groups projects and labs in which they have to involve themselves with other students appear to be the best learning experience and, hence, also provide for the highest rate of successful completion of the course.
Because teachers have been forced to “teach to the test,” due primarily to tracking, teachers have had their hands tied when it came to innovation in the classrooms for many years. Due to new innovative and national goals, teachers and administration officials are trying risky techniques.
Here are a few strategies for teachers who are seeking to incorporate innovation into their curriculums for the objective of “increased graduation rates.”
1. Exhibit passion and energy that captivates students. Let the teaching energy flow by always teaching on your feet.
2. Have students write about who they are now and who or what they would choose to become. (Only about two paragraphs in length)
3. Teacher writes about who they are and what gives them the “right” to stand up in front of students and talk. (Only about two paragraphs- don’t write about your degrees-just who you are)
4. Tell current social stories related to teacher’s subject area.

The squeeze is on due to shrinking budget cuts and rising enrollment. Student drop out rate is over 50%. Student graduation rate is 45%. And look who standing in the middle: Teachers. Right where they have been for years-and rightly so. In the field, with very little in their favor except their innate knowledge of their jobs and, for most, their passion to assist students toward their individual success, with graduation and jobs.
Teachers struggle each and every day with the question of “How to get their students to the finish line.” With the graduation rate at 45% what is an instructor to do?
And here’s another problem: very little time. President Obama says our nation’s goal with $12 billion is to graduate five million students by 2020. But how, against seemingly overwhelming odds?
Why is it so important? Why this unprecedented urgency for this to work. Graduating more people from college is essential to sustaining our local and national economies as well as maintaining strong communities with engaged citizens.
But HOW? Here are a few suggestions: by using strategies, practices, and programs of working with students on “Moving their Energy” with emotion in the classrooms.” It’s as simple as that!
Allow them to learn the principles of success in the classrooms. I’m not talking about reading, writing and arithmetic-I’m referring to teachers teaching Personal Improvement Skills how to develop professional behaviors such as self-discipline, and leading self-managed teams, to understand their own learning and communication style, transforming their work habits and strategic planning all within the classroom.
For example, focus students first on what they are good at doing. Research shows that over 50% of students who quit college not because of lack of funding. According to New York Times reporter David Brooks, “Community College students are academically unprepared, and experience very little support from home.” If students are going to have any chance to graduate from college, they need to have “strategies of success” coached/taught to them from the beginning of their college experience. For example, if an incoming freshman likes computer programming this must be nurtured and developed from the start.
Teachers need to add or incorporate into their curriculum, interventions that aid the student to focus and make clear how they may take steps in their passionate directions. Individual step-by-step guidance in the classroom at the beginning of their college experience is essential and each continuous step thereafter is must if students are going to be included in the five million number count by 2020.
